A Bollywood film featuring a gay sex scene has caused an uproar in the Indian film industry, and censors are asking that the director remove it from the flick!
Dunno Y…Na Jaane Kyun, directed by Sanjay Sharma, features the leads Kapil Sharma and Yuvraaj Parasher in gay sex scenes, which is the first time a Bollywood film has included that kind of content.
According to the director:
"Why should the censors be scandalized if two men are kissing and making love? The ones in my film are very aesthetic. And so what if it's two men making love? Love is love regardless of gender."
Well spoken! And so true!
The film has since been re-submitted to the revising committee with the footage intact.
Hopefully everyone will come to their senses and let the film be released as it was meant to!
