Bret Michaels Released from Hospital, Hopes to Make 'Celebrity Apprentice' Finale

Bret Michaels Released from Hospital, Hopes to Make 'Celebrity Apprentice' Finale

ET has learned that rocker Bret Michaels has been released from the hospital after suffering a "warning stroke," and his rep tells ET if the "Celebrity Apprentice" finalist plans to attend the show's live finale on Sunday night!

A rep for Michaels tells ET that they are "cautiously optimistic that Bret will be able to attend the 'Celebrity Apprentice' season finale on Sunday," where he’ll square off against Holly Robinson Peete.

The Poison frontman is receiving outpatient care after his most recent hospitalization. A news bulletin posted on Michaels' official Web site Thursday announced that he had suffered a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) or "warning stroke." Symptoms of numbness led to a hospital visit, and subsequent tests revealed that he also suffers from Patent Foramen Ovale -- having a hole in his heart.
