Bret Michaels broke down in tears as he watched his oldest daughter Raine, 9, talk about the fears she had of not having her dad around after he suffered a life-threatening brain hemorrhage last month. The rocker says he's now on a mission to appreciate life to the fullest.
Bandana and all, Michaels appeared via satellite on "The Oprah Winfrey Show", telling Winfrey of his near death experience, "I wasn't prepared for it." The Poison rocker described the instantaneous pain that came from the brain hemorrhage, comparing it to being shot in the head. "It felt like a pop. ... There was no lead up at all. It just exploded."
"Each day is better," Michaels, 47, says of his healing process. Michaels explains he still has some headaches and a stiff neck, but that is all to be expected.
