Sources are reporting that Leonardo DiCaprio has agreed to shoot a TV commercial overseas for a Chinese cell phone company, Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp. He'll fly over to Asia late in April and the commercial will air sometime later this year.
His pay-out for this seemingly simple gig? $5 million!!!
Damn! How much yuan is that?!?!?!
We're hearing that this deal will be among the most lucrative one-off endorsement deals to date for Leo. (Tag Heuer and Suzuki paid him pretty handsomely as well for the ads he did for them.)
You might think that's pretty excessive and you'd be right - but considering all the good Leo does, we imagine he is going to be spreading that wealth around.
