Pitchfork Music Festival Hosts 54,000 Fans, Streams Live Online

The Pitchfork Music Festival brought the heat to 54,000 fans at Union Park in Chicago, Illinois with big name acts including Outkast's Big Boi, Modest Mouse, LCD Soundsystem and Broken Social Scene boasting some impressive performances.

While thousands packed into the park and weathered the heat, those that couldn't make it to the nearly sold out festival were able to see the shows from the comfort of their air conditioned homes as Pitchfork streamed the performances live.

Running from Friday, July 16 through Sunday, July 18, the music festival featured a slew of indie and mainstream musicians including memorable performances by Swedish pop singer Robyn, Diplo and Switch's collaborative project Major Lazer, California band Local Natives, punk/indie rock band Titus Andronicus and the Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon.
