I managed to avoid all shopping yesterday on Black Friday because I was too bizzy chilllin’ at home watchin’ movies on the couch. I did manage to get out of the house last night to meet up with my new friend Jen for dinner at Dominick’s. She and I had the best time … we talked for 3 hours about music and concerts and life and everything in between. She and I agree on so much music and we’ve seen some of the same shows over the years (altho, on opposite sides of the country) that we lost track of the time. We had a blast.
Tonight, I’ll be making my way out to Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles to see Ok Go live in concert:
I’ve seen the band live over the years (going back to a show in Detroit back in 2004) and never get tired of seeing them rock out on stage. I’m really excited so that’s what I’ll be doing tonight. David gets home from his Thanksgiving trip back East tonight as well so … today is going to be a great day! Happy Saturday!!
