It’s contest time!! And this time … I have a really, really great prize to give away. On Saturday May 7, a group of musicians will perform a tribute concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles, CA in honor of the timeless music of the great Patsy Cline. Among the performers scheduled to appear are Shirley Manson (of Garbage), John Doe (of X) Zooey Deschanel and MORE! If you live in the SoCal area and are a Patsy Cline fan, then THIS is the concert for you!!
Zooey Deschanel, John Doe, Shirley Manson, John C. Reilly and Charlie Wadhams have just been added to The Songs of Patsy Cline with The Living Sisters (Inara George, Eleni Mandell, Becky Stark and Alex Lilly) concert at Walt Disney Concert, Saturday, May 7, at 8 p.m. The now complete lineup of contemporary singers celebrates the soulful melodies and timeless lyrics forever associated with Patsy Cline, performing such hits as “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces” and others. The concert is part of the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s 2010/11 Songbook series.
Tickets for this show range from $38 – 106 and are on sale NOW at LAPhil.com. I understand that $10 student rush tickets may be available for this concert performance 2 hours before showtime … but it is DEFFO not to be missed!
