Back in October of last year, we saw a few photos of Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan paling around on the LA set of their film Drive. Today we get to see the red band trailer for the finished film, due out later this year. While Gosling is known for his emotionally dramatic films, it would seem — judging by this trailer — that Drive will be his first foray into the world of high tension action films. Check it out below and see what you think.
Based on the description of the film, I assumed Ryan would be playing a bad guy … but it looks like he’s just a good guy caught in a bad situation. I think he makes a fantastic hero (and, if I’m being totally honest here, I think he would’ve made a much better Green Lantern than Ryan Reynolds). I like what I see in this trailer so, yeah, I’m excited to see it (tho I’m more excited to see Crazy Stupid Love … merely for the nekkid scenes). I dunno what makes this a red band trailer but … yeah. What do y’all think? Do you like?
