Yesterday we got to see a few promo photos from the upcoming first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and I mentioned that Warner Bros. would be releasing a new video trailer for the film last night. Today, we get our first look at the new trailer (the second after the first teaser trailer was released last December) for Deathly Hallows … here are a few screencaps:

The end is almost near for the “Harry Potter” movies as the trailer for the final installment of the series has hit the web. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” will not only mark as the end of a saga, but will also bring an end to the long-awaited final confrontation between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort. In a scene from the trailer, The Dark Lord, played by , grabs the face of Harry and quietly asks, “Why do you live?” Harry proudly replies, “Because I have something worth living for.” Soon after, the two opposites battle it out in an intense wand fight and Voldemort offers the final words of the trailer: “Only I can live forever.” The film will be released in two parts, with the first installment slated for a November 19 release. Part two will arrive in theaters July 15, 2011.

The end is nearly nigh, y’all — after the jump, check out the trailer and see how it will all end in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I think it’s safe to say that this trailer is truly epic … we don’t get to see very much but you can tell, the action will be significant. As we are ALL very well aware, Part 1 of the film will hit theaters in November while Part 2 will be released in July 2011. Are you excited? Are you sad? Are you, like me, wanting to see more?
