Yesterday afternoon David and I trekked out west to Marina Del Rey, CA to attend a baby shower for our friends Genevieve and Charlie who are expecting their first child together ANY DAY NOW! They’ve already settled on naming their babygirl Audrey so, naturally, her baby shower was dubbed The Little Aud-Ball ;) Part of the fun yesterday included making quilt squares so that they can be sewed together later on:

Our quilt square is the black and white one with the letters A U D R E Y colored in yellow, get it? Meh, we’re not artists :P Here are a couple of photos with Gen and the incubating Audrey:
Doesn’t she look fantastic! I am so excited for Gen and Charlie … they’re gonna be the best parents ever!!
After the shower, we made our way back home to watch the Emmys and that was pretty much my night. Tonight, we’re meeting up with our friend Gillian but first, I have to start packing for Detroit. OY! Always on the go … Happy Monday!
