Yesterday, the divorce trial of Antwaun Cook took an explosive turn when American Idol winner Fantasia was asked to take the stand. You'll recall that Fantasia carried on an affair with Antwaun over the last year, but when she learned he was actually married, she attempted to take her own life.
Nevertheless, Antwaun's soon to be ex-wife, Paula, didn't have her legal people hold back when getting Fantasia on the stand to testify in the case. We're told all non-essential people and witnesses were cleared out of the room to attempt to secure her testimony.
So much for that.
In a dramatic twist of events, Fantasia revealed that she dated Antwaun “off and on for about 11 months” but swore that she had separated from his wife. Then, she revealed that got pregnant by Antwaun and had an abortion around the time of her failed suicide attempt!
OMG! How awful! This poor girl!
The trial continues on and there is no word if Fantasia's testimony will extend into another day. We actually hope they finally cut the girl a break. She obviously feels remorse for what she did and she's suffered so much already.
Maybe it's just time for everyone to move on.
