Last month we got our first look at the first teaser trailer for the big screen movie adaptation of the classic board game Battleship (I know … seriously). As you may know, popstar Rihanna will be making her movie debut in the film as Petty Officer Raikes and today we get to check out the first official photo of Ri Ri in Battleship. I dunno, y’all. The trailer we saw a couple of weeks ago looked … interesting … but in a silly way. Except for Clue, I really don’t think movies need to be based on classic board games. I understand plans are in the works to make a movie about Monopoly. HMMM. It’ll be kinda fun to see Rihanna in a movie but I’m thinkin’ she shouldn’t be counting on an Oscar nomination for her work in Battleship.
