Yesterday was a very rainy day here in Rhode Island and because there wasn’t an outdoors to escape the cabin for, we packed up the mini-van and made our way into the capitol city of Providence to go to the movies. We ended up at The Providence Place Mall and walked around a bit before we had to go into our movie. David and I saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes (review forthcoming) while his parents and sisters went to see Midnight in Paris … and a great afternoon was had by all.
To be honest, yesterday was a pretty normal Sunday for us. Even if we were home, we’d prolly lay around the house until going to the movies. Life is pretty quite out here in the wilds of RI … which is nice … but I’m ready for civilization again.
Not sure the plan for tonight … I’ve heard talk of rollerskating … and bowling. Lord, help me. Happy Monday!!
