GQ magazine has compiled a list of the 50 Coolest Men under the age of 38 and have decided that Prince Harry of Wales is the coolest of the bunch. To be honest, I’m not all that impressed with the Top 10 picks selected for this list but anything list that puts Harry on top is a list that I wholeheartedly agree with:

Prince Harry has been crowned king of cool in a list compiled by GQ magazine. The sandy-haired royal beat the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Horrors singer Faris Badwan and Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson to take the title. The magazine took 37 and a half to be the cut-off age in considering the coolest men. It took into account an ‘enviable sense of savoir faire, a talent for transforming the mundane into the extraordinary, or just a really edgy haircut’ to qualify, it said. Harry, 25, who is described as ’soldier, ambassador, polo player, playboy’, turned his image around after a few youthful gaffes with his stint in Afghanistan, according to GQ. His big brother, Prince William, failed to make the rundown of young movers and shakers. Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders makes the top 10. ‘Wry, self-deprecating and often soul-searchingly existential, the drummer is indie music’s online answer to Jerry Seinfeld,’ the magazine said. Despite his personal troubles and fall from grace last year, golf pro Tiger Woods was also placed in the top 40. Youngest on the list is Albert Cocker – son of former Pulp star Jarvis – who is just seven. The magazine predicts he is ‘heading for big things with the in-crowd’. The list appears in the July issue of GQ, on sale from Thursday.

LOL! Despite the silliness of trying to compile an accurate list of who is “cool” (especially considering the ridiculous parameters that went into the decision-making process) I think the magazine is right to put Prince Harry on top. That being said, the fact that Tiger Woods is listed as one of the “coolest” men is complete bullshizz. Even if you give him “cool” cred for the rampant cheating he did on his wife with those countless bimbos (which I absolutely DO NOT GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR), he surely should lose all of his “cool” points for the mere fact that the idiot got caught. Total fail. Here is the GQ list of the Top 10 Coolest Men Under 38:

01. Prince Harry
02. Robert Pattinson
03. Reggie Love
04. Dizzee Rascal
05. Jason Schwartzman
06. Usain Bolt
07. Ryan McGinley
08. Dustin Lance Black
09. Matt Helders
10. Wells Tower
11. Brian Burton (aka Danger Mouse)
12. Jack White
13. Jon Favreau
14. Roger Federer
15. Andre Saraiva

Interesting list, no? What do you think? Did GQ get this list right? Is there anyone who you think deserves to be listed in this Top 10?
