"American Idol" runner-up Crystal Bowersox has signed with 19 Recordings/Jive Records to record her debut album, expected to hit shelves later this year.
The 24-year old Midwestern singer/songwriter says, "I'm really grateful to be given this opportunity to make an album and let people hear my music, and I'm looking forward to working with all of the folks at 19/Jive."
Two of Bowersox's singles, "Up to the Mountain," and "Falling Slowly," a duet with "Idol" champ Lee DeWyze, are currently burning up the charts.
