Though the two entertainers never crossed paths, Smokey Robinson felt a connection to the late Gary Coleman. He shared his strong thoughts with ET about Coleman's hospital photo being leaked to the press.
Robinson said, "There are certain elements of the media that have gone wild, that have gone crazy. I think it's an injustice in a certain way because there's a point in a person's life that things are private and they should remain that way."
Actor Tracy Morgan admired Coleman's comedic timing, complimenting, "The guy was a genius and I think they short changed him. I think you couldn't even pay for his amount of talent. He had more talent in one pinkie than most people have in this world."
