Earlier today we learned that Lindsay Lohan got sprung from jail at 1:35 AM PT and then was immediately escorted by the police to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center where she will undergo 90 days of intensive psychiatric and drug abuse rehabilitation. TMZ reports that none of L. Lo‘s rehab costs will be paid by local taxpayers (whew!) and that she (and her insurance company) will be responsible for paying the very hefty bill. Here is where Lindsay will be living for the next 3 months and some deets about what it’s gonna cost her:

Finally, some good news for California taxpayers — they don’t have to pay for Lindsay Lohan’s 90-day rehab stint at UCLA, even though it’s court ordered. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ it is standard practice for the offender to foot the rehab bill — which in Lindsay’s case could be pretty pricey. We’re told since UCLA Medical Center offers a more comprehensive program, it’s more expensive than your average rehab facility. The cost isn’t necessarily all out-of-pocket for LiLo — it’s possible her health insurance could pick up a portion of the tab.

I am already LOVING Lindsay Lohan in rehab. Not only does she have a great chance at saving her own life but she won’t be burdening the California taxpayers with the high cost of paying for her treatment. I’m not sure if we’ll be getting much goss about Lindsay‘s life inside rehab over the next 90 days … but we do know that she will NOT be getting out early. Unlike her overcrowded jail situation, Lindsay will be required to spend the entire 90 days in rehab. I wonder if any of us will even remember who she is once she gets out … in all honesty, maybe that will be the best thing to ever happen in her life.
