When last we heard from Father of the Year Michael Lohan he was trying to convince his incarcerated daughter Lindsay Lohan to let him visit her in jail in any way he could think of. First, he tried to buy her love by sending her treats and snacks in jail … and then he tried to woo her by releasing a song that he had written just for her. Daddy Lohan was rebuffed at every turn … so he decided to cut his losses, leave LA and go party in the Hamptons with some of his fame-hungry BFFs. As gross as all of this sounds, I can’t say I blame Daddy Lohan for bailing on his daughter and partying in the Hamptons with his “friends”. After all, Lindsay wants nothing to do with him … and if there is fame whoring to be had, Michael may as well indulge himself, right? With Daddykins on the otherside of the country, maybe Lindsay can get some peace and quit in rehab so that she can actually save her own life. While it’s true that her toxic mother Dina Lohan will prolly be here to meddle in her daughter’s affairs (and bask in the media attention that comes along with those affairs), at least Lindsay‘s father will be far, far away.
